The ultra compact Poolex O’Spa is a chiller / heat pump designed for ice baths, spas and hot tubs that can save you up 75% in energy consumption when cooling or heating. This Heat pump is bundled with a pump & filter that circulates 800 gallons / h. All piping and connections are provided for use with an Urban Ice Tribe stock tank. Other connectors can be provided on request.
The O’Spa provides 5kW of cooling or heating and can be installed on any ice bath, spa, hot tub or Nordic bath, supplied with 32/38mm water connections (additional fittings supplied separately). If you wish, your O’Spa can even take control of the existing electric heater to optimise your spa’s temperature rise, the included relay will control the electric heater built into the spa.
The 3-in-1 heating / cooling / chilling function of the O’Spa heat pump revolutionises the spa experience by offering extended versatility, heating your spa efficiently for warm, soothing relaxation sessions, and cooling it quickly for use on those really hot days or even using your spa as a chiller – the chiller function can reduce water temperature down to 3°C.
The O’Spa features Wi-Fi temperature control and a programmable timer using the dedicated Poolex App, available for iOS and Android smart devices.

I made the mistake of purchasing a cheaper chiller from a brand you’ve probably seen advertising on Facebook. After months of not getting the temperatures advertised, I finally gave in and returned the item. I then did a lot of research to try to find an affordable but effective alternative. This led me to this Poolex on the urban ice tribe website. I had a lot of questions which were all happily answered by the customer service rep. The service from pre-purchase to post-installation has been exceptional with a great deal of interest and care taken to ensure the experience has been a positive one from start to finish. The unit itself is highly efficient, enabling me to run it overnight during my cheap electricity hours. The extra initial cost compared to cheaper units will be quickly recouped because of the savings I’ll make on my electricity bill. I would recommend the installation service as this was all carried out to a really high standard, and is much better than had I tried to do it myself. And finally, and most importantly, I have had crystal clear and 3 degree water in my ice bath for every plunge since this unit was installed. Would highly, highly recommend
